Parul Singh

I am a junior research fellow in the lab. I work on nucleoid associated proteins in E. coli.

I’ve done my B. Sc in Biotechnology from Mody College, University of Rajasthan and M. Sc. in Microbiology from the University of Lucknow. I joined the lab in January 2011 as a JRF.

My interest lies in studying transcriptional regulation and how it is affected by transcription factors and nucleoid associated proteins. Specifically, my current work focuses on the global transcription factor, CRP, and the nucleoid associated protein, FIS.

I hold UGC-CSIR fellowship.
